Reflections Career Coaching's new podcast 'Inside Entertainment Industry Careers' will feature guests from every corner of the entertainment industry to raise awareness of all the routes and pathways towards creative industry roles.
In response to the growing popularity of podcasts and the need for career guidance in the creative industry, I decided to take action and create a new podcast, called ‘Inside Entertainment Industry Careers’.
In line with the growing trend of virtual learning and career exploration, the podcast will be released on all major platforms including; Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Amazon Music, Samsung, and Podchaser. My aim in starting this podcast is to increase awareness and visibility of all the various routes and pathways into career roles in the creative industries.
“I'm deeply committed to raising awareness of all the various roles in the creative and entertainment industries. My goal is to provide insights, that raise aspirations and to inspire future generations to enter the industry.”
Interviewing guests from around the world, the first episode will feature British Actress, Rachel Grant, most famously known for her role as ‘Peaceful Fountains of Desire’, James Bond’s would-be assassin in ‘Die Another Day’, opposite Pierce Brosnan. Born in the Philippines, Rachel Grant (de Longueuil) is a British actress, TV presenter/host, travel expert, videographer, and entrepreneur based in New York.
Rachel's film credits also include roles alongside Jean Claude Van Damme and Stephen Rea in "Until Death", "The Tournament" with Robert Carlyle and "The Purifiers" with Dominic Monaghan. She began her television career with a role on the popular UK soap "Emmerdale" and later became SyFy UK's most-watched TV slot as horror hostess Nina in Friday night's Sci-fright. Additionally, she portrayed Professor Myang Li in Sky One's popular show "Brainiac: Science Abuse" and showcased her martial arts skills as the nun-chaku twirling master Kali in the BBC TV show Masters Of Combat. She also served as a body double for Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider.
Each podcast episode will explore the guest's career, offering insights into their career journey. Not only will listeners gain valuable career advice, but they will also leave feeling inspired and motivated by our guests' unique experiences in pursuing their passions.
“If anyone would like to be a guest on future episodes, they are welcome to email me directly.”
The first podcast episode will be available starting the 21st of March 2024, then every 3 weeks after that.
